Jacuzzi Unlimited

Jacuzzi Unlimited is what came out of the enjoi wreckage. In February 2023 Louie Barletta walked away from the brand he’d ridden for twenty-three years, and by September he had his own company up and running with Jeff Davis. Bay Area base, a distribution outfit run by skaters, and a team that is largely the same crew as before with a new name on the tail.

History

Barletta laid out why he left in a Jenkem interview with Ian Michna on 27 February 2023: riders weren’t getting paid, and the answer was always the same — “we didn’t hit our sales targets”. Enjoi had changed hands in 2019 and the priority had shifted from making videos to hitting numbers. The new brand’s name comes from a tour nickname pinned on him by Cairo Foster and Ron Whaley; Barletta sums it up as a beer, a hot tub and all your buddies.

Jeff Davis, out of the same enjoi circle, is the one who built the brand’s look, and Barletta gives him the credit himself in a March 2026 interview on the Slam City Skates blog. Jacuzzi launched in September 2023 with MONNIE, a seventeen-minute video with the whole team. Behind it sits Sidewalk Distribution, put together by the survivors of Dwindle and also home to Opera Skateboards and Slappy Trucks; Jenkem introduced it in May 2023 with a line from Bill Weiss about building “a distribution 100% for skateboarders”. Barletta brought enjoi back in 2026, but the Jacuzzi team hasn’t moved.

The team

Barletta, Caswell Berry, Nestor Judkins, Michael Pulizzi and Jackson Pilz are the enjoi half of the story. Alongside them are John Dilo, Jake Yanko, Matt Savidakis, Joey Marrone, Dru James and Gus Bus. Tony Latham turned pro in August 2025, Zander Mitchell joined that February and dropped his first pro part in December, and Ariana Spencer is the most recent addition.

The decks

Almost the whole catalogue runs on the house construction, EX7: seven plies of North American maple with epoxy glue, split colour veneers on the top face and individual pressing. Mellow concave and a steep kick on most models, with widths from 7.75” all the way to 9.125” — a wider spread than half the industry offers. There are twin tail shapes too. Graphics come from Nick Zizzo, Brock Saunders and Emil Andersson, with the kind of deadpan humour anyone coming from enjoi will spot instantly.

Who it’s for

If you liked enjoi and what’s left of it doesn’t do it for you, this is the real continuation. It’s also a good call if you genuinely need a wide deck: Tony Latham’s 9.125” isn’t a size you find everywhere. It is not the brand for someone who wants a logo everyone at the park recognises. Compare it against the rest in the deck catalogue.
