Alltimers

Alltimers was the New York brand that took skating seriously and nothing else. Rob Harris and Pryce Holmes started it in 2013, and the logo — a VIP-lounge martini glass — is the whole joke: a bunch of broke skaters acting like they live a life of luxury. It lasted exactly eleven years and shut down in the summer of 2024. Worth knowing if you landed here shopping for decks: what’s left in shops is remaining stock, not new production.

History

The first product was 50 red Lamborghini-shaped cruisers — their own farewell statement says so. From there they went all in on nineties nostalgia and pop culture cut out with scissors: Ryan Gosling, TLC, Chris Farley, McDonald’s Grimace, caps riffing on the cartoon The Critic, a board for Marisa Tomei. By 2016 W magazine was already placing them in the wave of New York skate labels the fashion world had noticed.

That position bought them real collaborations. With adidas Skateboarding they launched a shoe at a carnival in New York in November 2017, then came back in 2019 with the ZX 4000 and the Gazelle Super. With Vans they did the Holiday 2019 capsule and, in January 2023, launched the Zahba with the martini debossed on the heel. In 2023 they filmed the Bronztimers tour video with Bronze 56K, and in 2024 they closed the loop with a capsule for the Creative Growth Art Center’s 50th anniversary and a set of Thunder trucks.

On 17 July 2024 they announced they were done. “It’s time for us to bounce,” read the statement signed by Pryce, Rob and Zach. Quartersnacks sent them off with the right line: credit for not running Alltimers into the ground as a soulless, empty thing.

The team

The farewell thanked the final roster: Zered Bassett, Alexis Sablone, Will Marshall, Etienne “E.T.” Gagne, Dustin Henry, Stafhon Boca, Coles Bailey, Ben Blundell, Dana Ericson, Brianna Delaney, Dougie and Salomon Cardenas, among others. Elijah Odom, Adrian Vega, Charles Rivard and Kyota Umeki also came through the videos.

Boards and videos

Regular popsicles with graphics photoshopped on purpose badly, and odd shapes whenever they felt like it. The videography is short but solid: “No Idea” (2018), “E.T. & Dustin” (2021), “You Deserve It” (2022) — the Zered video, with Stafhon Boca’s first part — and Bronztimers (2023).

Who it’s for

Anyone who wants one specific graphic and understands they’re buying deadstock. Prices can be strange in both directions, and once a width sells out nobody is making another run. If you want a brand with guaranteed restocks, this isn’t one any more — check the full deck catalog.
